Timberline House

Residential architecture · Permitting design

About the project

A house opening onto the garden, framed by trees.

Daytime and nighttime views show the house's volumes and their relationship with vegetation. Interior views explore continuity between living and dining areas and the outdoors.

The challenge

Connect the house's volumes with the surrounding vegetation and create visual continuity between interior spaces and the garden.

Approach

The composition combines light volumes, wood surfaces, and large glazed openings. Daytime and nighttime views reveal the relationship between facades and trees; the interiors extend this language into living, kitchen, and dining areas.

Outcome

A residential proposal in which the garden shapes the facade views and the visual experience of the interiors. Wood and light volumes connect the different views, while nighttime lighting highlights the transparency of shared spaces.
